Rosamaria Cavalho, is a 1L at UC Hastings College of the Law. Her passion is to become a public interest attorney in defense of tenants, workers and immigrants, the communities from which her family, herself and her communities come. From Rosamaria's direct experiences of homelessness, being low income and growing up with the stories of her parents' own exploitative experiences as undocumented immigrants, she has grown committed to advocate for those dealing with housing instability, worker abuse and racism. Whether through filing legal cases or on the ground as a community lawyer working with a non profit organization, Rosamaria is excited to become a social justice lawyer. Through law school, she plans to intern with the San Francisco City Attorney's office and upon graduation, work on behalf of immigrant, worker and tenant rights. Rosamaria Cavalho is a ChangeLawyer.
