Yasmin Abusaif is a 1L ChangeLawyer at the UCLA School of Law. Having lived a childhood filled with various hardships, she now strives to channel her past experiences into a career of public interest law. For her, there is no better way to raise up others and alleviate their struggle than earning a law degree and putting it to work. She hopes to intern at criminal defense clinics and provide pro-bono services to those in need. Upon graduation, she wants to help fill the gap of much needed legal assistance for those who cannot afford it, specifically as a public defender.
